Coso and Sunna Kivisalo are proud to announce

Planned litter for mid November 2010 !

In the show world, very few Ridgebacks go on to reach the ultimate goal - the elusive Best In Show. You could only imagine the excitement of pairing two of these dogs - the potential is quite promising! Not only are Argos and Penny multi-titled, both have also cleared all certified health screenings in their respective countries.

Coso Rhodesians believes in proving our dogs (and dogs we breed to) with titles and cleared certified health screenings BEFORE they are even considered to be bred. Proof of all this is provided to any of our potential extended family and is also available on the sites of the organizations that certify our health screenings.

Penny - Best In Show with over 1900 dogs

Penny has a correct balanced body. She is strong boned while still being very elegant and feminine. She is a good mover with long groundcovering steps. She is a dark wheaten with good pigmentation and dark clear mask. She has no excessive black and no white markings. She has a correct bite and full dentition.

Penny's character is easygoing, open and approachable. She is a good travelling companion and she adjusts with new situations quickly. She is very reliable with children as well as other people too. Penny took a part in the Swedish mental test the 5th of September 2009 with good results. She is totally gunproofed.

Penny is trained for lure-coursing and bloodtracking (wounded animal tracking in the woods) they will compete in both of them next year.

Penny is proven as a showdog. So far she has been the only ridgeback bitch in Finland who has gained her Finnish Champion- title being only 2 years and 2 days old. (A dog has to be minimum 2 years and 1 day old to get this title) So she achieved it as fast as possible. Penny became Estonian Champion in the first show she entered in Estonia. Until the age of 2 years and 1 month she already has awarded wih six cacibs.
